I have 4 black skirt tetras which are usually pretty chilled and always swim across the tank in a group.

By jenny4wheel 5 years ago on tropical fish. I have a long finned black skirt tetra that has pinkish tumors on it s anal fin these look like eggs or pinkish bubbles and the anal fin seems to be ragged in this area. To me it looks stressed.

I couldn t find a camera but managed to find a picture online that perfectly shows exactly what my dad s fish look like. Ich in particular is dangerous for black skirt tetras. I cannot figure out what it is or how to treat it.

The tetras lose appetite and they like to spend the day in the bottom of the tank. It spent most of the time either drifting around at the top and a few days before it died it seems careless flopping around lazily and drifting with the current of the filter. This should be enough for a small group of fish to swim comfortably.
